Hobsonville Point to Riverhead

Meet at the Hobsonville Point Flying Boat Ramp at 10am and to be on the water for a 10.30am launch. Paddle on the incoming tide to Riverhead - approx distance of 8.5kms. Lunch in the park just past the pub.
Total distance around 17kms going with the tide in both directions, high tide about 1pm.
What to take - usual paddling gear, money for lunch, something warm and dry to change into for lunch.
Suitable for strong beginners as it is quite sheltered.
