Sunday 6 December. Leaders Russ and Larraine
Meet at the main boat ramp at St Heliers. Paddle in an easterly direction to Browns Island where we will have a short stop. Head over to Motuihe where we will have lunch. After lunch head back towards Browns Island, before returning to St Heliers.
Meet St Heliers Main Boat Ramp – 9am, launch at 9.30am
Estimated distance is 20kms
Suitable for intermediate paddlers. This crosses open water which can get windy and choppy. Please ensure that you are as visible as possible with hi-viz gear and flags.
Note that Motuihe is pest free – please check your boat and gear for rats, mice, Argentine ants, Rainbow skinks, soil and seeds.
