Rangitoto Circumnavigation

Meet at Narrowneck Beach ramp at 9.30am  – on the water at 10am. 

Gardiner's Gap, which is between Rangitoto and Motutapu, can only be crossed at high tide.  High tide on this day is 1.07pm so the plan is to have lunch, then go through the gap when we have enough water, then head back to Narrow Neck.  

Please bring all the usual safety gear, including flags, and hi-viz clothing.  Make sure you have something warm to put on at lunch time, beanies, jackets etc are recommended as it can still get cold when you are damp.

Suitable for intermediate paddlers, or strong beginners.
Distance is 25km and you are crossing open water which can become windy and bumpy.
