Come and join us for the Mid Winter Christmas Wild West Party Weekend at Huia exploring the Manukau staying at Kiwanis Lodge on Huia Bay. Kiwanis Lodge at Huia  (Note - do not book through the council website that will come up with this link, this is for information only). Take Huia Road from the Titirangi round-about and it will take you all the way to Kiwanis Lodge - map...

We have a huge 4m tide at 13.20 on Saturday, suitable for paddling.

Huia is just 45 minutes west of Auckland and a lovely place to base ourselves for a wild west weekend. So close to Auckland and yet worlds away. The paddling will be on the Manukau Harbour exploring the beaches, streams and bush.

Sleeping arrangements are bunk rooms either in chalets or in the main lodge. The bathroom facilities are shared. The main lodge house contains the lounge for our Christmas Party. The dinning room and commercial kitchen is well set up for our meals. The kitchen has dishes, cutlery and cooking equipment for 46 people.

The cost of attending the Mid Winter Christmas is $30 per person to cover hiring of the venue. There is no additional cost for accommodation. The Christmas party is a Wild West Theme so bring your cowboy hats and bandannas!

Hire Kayaks are available and the trailer will be going if necessary.

How about bringing your non-kayaking family along for the weekend?
