Lost and Found - Kayak Navigation Course

Where are we going and how do we get there? How do you use a compass in a kayak? What are latitude and longitude? Have you had to describe just where you are to a rescuer? What is more or less important than your map?

Navigation covers the intricacies of map reading, the differences between true north and magnetic north (and the implications of that). How and when line of sight is best. And we do them all on land and on the sea.

This course is suitable for all levels of kayaker some come along and get lost and found with us. Some hire boats will be available so contact the shop to book one. First in first serve.
