Tip outs can occur anywhere but they are more likely to occur where conditions are abnormal or more difficult than usual. So you are more likely to see a boat upside down in the surf, in higher wind, or near the rocks. What to do?

Extend your rescue knowledge so your have more options when working on a rescue. Learn about the different recovery options available and the different roles that you might end up in while assisting a rescue.

This course is practical and lots of fun as we first explore options in the pool to get to grips with a variety of ways at putting people back into boats. Then we go out on to the sea and practice it all again in deep water ... with multiple people in the water.

And the learning doesn't stop there. We finish with a debrief analysing what worked and why. What might have been more useful in hindsight, how the conditions on the day impacted on the event, and so on.

This course is suitable for people of all levels of experience. Some hire boats will be available so contact the shop to book one only $25 extra. First in first serve.
