General Plan	Meet Matherson Bay 1000 on the water by 1030,Goat island is one of the best trips in the region.  Paddle north to Leigh around Cape Rodney where they is some caves to explore; Goat Island is a Marine Reserve, and it is a good idea to take you mask and snorkel.  If they is a swell running take care landing.  Care is needed in on shore winds or swell especially in the vicinity of Cape Rodney
