St Heliers to Orakei Basin

Meet at St Heliers Beach Boat Ramp at 08.30am for on the water at 09.00am.

Drive down the boat ramp to unload your boat then find a park on the street.

Paddle west along the coast with the ingoing tide, checking out all the weekend activity on the waterfront. Explore Orakei Basin and have a coffee stop at Okahu Bay.

Returning by 01.00pm

Bring usual safety gear, snacks and a drink.

Distance is 13km return.   High Tide 13.34   3m   Low Tide 07.19   0.9m

This is a leisurely paddle suitable for beginners who can paddle 13km.
