YYNS Auckland Loop - Fun Bike Ride with Neil Watson 8 October 2017

BIKE RIDE SUNDAY 8 October 2017 with Neil Watson

auckland loop-901

Auckland Loop – Takapuna to Onehunga return linking Auckland’s cycleways, parks and reserves including some of the new cycleways built by the Waterview Tunnel project.

33km approx. Takes 4 to 5 hours including pit stop at the Onehunga Town Centre for lunch.

If the ride is cancelled, the back-up day is Sunday 15 October. Neil will email cancellation a couple of days ahead.

This ride is flat and hilly.

A bit over 50% is on-road.

Surface varies: mostly tarseal/concrete, some compacted gravel bits.

The ride is OK for road bikes with a bit of tyre tread and mountain bikes.

Will suit those who are reasonably fit and ridden on Auckland’s roads.
