New Years Eve Fireworks on the Water

Fourteen paddlers enjoyed a front row seat for the midnight fireworks from the Skytower. Our position in Westhaven Marina was kindly secured by Pauline and Chris hugging a pole and Luke slipping a rope under his shoulder. The long awaited display was over pretty quick and we headed back to Herne Bay. Paddling under the Harbour Bridge was a first for some. The night paddle with lights and fireworks and full moon was a different way to see in the new year, ending one year and starting the next with paddling can only be good!
