2014 Grade 2 River Racing Training Package6 days river instruction for $1299A comprehensive package of courses and coaching designed to progressively build your kayaking skills to a Grade Two Racing Certificate level DAY ONE & TWO (Auckland) : INTRODUCTION TO WHITE WATER, including water confidence, paddling technique, river reading and rescue skills. all equipment included. Mohaka River - DAY THREE & FOUR: RIVER READING AND WHITE WATER SKILLS. Based on the banks of The Mohaka River at Mountain Valley Lodge. Now you are on a real river! We start off gentle and ease you into things by recapping what you learnt in Auckland. The Mohaka River has two sections available depending on the development of the group. DAY FIVE & SIX: RIVER RUNNING INSTRUCTION ON THE FASTEST LINE. Continuing on from day 3 and 4 we are now starting to gain confidence and exhibit the skills required to pass your grade 2 certificate. Assessment takes place on days 5&6 and you will need your own kayak and compulsory gear. (Reassessment Fees apply for those who do not achieve their certificates) |
