Winter Training Programme

Auckland Canoe and Kayak is running a Winter Training Programme designed to upgrade your skills and knowledge.  You have the option of doing just some of the sessions, or you can do them all.  Club members will receive a 50% subsidy from the Yakity Yak Kayak Club.  Note that the entire programme is open to club members and trip leaders from all regions.  If you are from outside Auckland and prefer to cover everything over a four day block, please let us know and we will set it up.

This programme will then be followed by some additional sessions specifically for those who wish to become trip leaders - this will be 100% subsidised by the club, but you will be expected to run at least 3 club trips during the following 12 months

Current leaders are able to attend with 100% subsidy from the club. Current leaders are those who have been leading trips over the previous 12 months, and/or who intend to lead trips over the next 12 months.

NOTE:  the number of participants subsidized may be limited depending on available funds.
