Leaders Training and Revision

10am to 3pm
Location is Auckland likely to be Orewa and confirmation will be sent to the attendees the days before due to weather.
Traveling leaders will be able to apply for travel and accommodation costs (if any) by emailing their request to their Club Captain or to me Trust Chairman for prior approval, no payments will be forthcoming without prior approval.
Bookings are essential and no one will be able to just rock up on the day.
There is no cost for attendance.
Lunch is provided
The day will be spent revising and working on personal and team paddling skills and knowledge along with a brush up on leadership skills.
The aim of the day is to build confidence in the leader's ability to lead trips by way of refreshing skills and knowledge and also to build their capacity to deal with any issues that may arise during trips.
It is compulsory for all leaders to attend one of these days every two years to maintain leader status.
Afterwards there is a club paddle exploring the Okura Marine Reserve followed by a BBQ at Peter and Treffery.
