Overnight trip and working bee at Dacre Cottage
Come on an overnight trip to Dacre Cottage and a working bee this Saturday December 3rd. Meet at the end of Okura River Road at 3pm and we will return at 2pm on Sunday.
Peter will supply a BBQ Dinner for Saturday night, bacon and eggs for breakfast and hot scones and cheeses for lunch on Sunday ($20 per person).
On the way over on Saturday we will explore the Okura Estuary and the Piripiri Point area of the Long Bay Okura Marine Reserve and arrive at the Cottage around 5.30pm, set up camp and have a yummy BBQ (BYO Drinks).
Sunday we will have a relaxing breakfast and then we will be into gardening, building repairs and cleaning from 9am to 11am. A lunch of hot scones and a cuppa and then depart around 1pm for a drift into Okura on the incoming tide doing a bit of bird spotting on the way.
